  • We can get your overseas Premier account up and running before you leave for your new country (subject to local terms and conditions).
  • Instant access to credit cards with similar limits to those you currently enjoy with HSBC in the UAE (subject to status, local laws and terms and conditions).
  • Free international transfers between your Premier accounts by Phone and Internet banking, giving you simple and secure methods for transferring funds between accounts in up to 40 countries.
  • Fast, easy access to your accounts worldwide - at the cost of a local call by calling the local Premier call centre.
  • We will undertake an International Needs Review with you before you move to make sure all your banking needs are covered.
  • When you get to your new country, your local relationship manager will contact you to make sure all your banking facilities are running smoothly.
  • We can also arrange to introduce you to our International banking specialists, where appropriate.

When you are travelling, HSBC Premier provides worldwide family travel insurance, personal security travel advice for you and your family at home and abroad, 24 hour Global Emergency Services helpdesk, and our Global Concierge Services for restaurant and hotel reservations.

If you are not a Premier customer
The International Banking Centre can still assist by providing the following international services, available to you for a one-off fee of AED 740 per account:

  • We'll provide account opening forms for you to complete and then arrange for the accounts to be opened before you leave for your new country (subject to local terms and conditions)
  • When you get to your new country, if you need any assistance, simply contact the local International Banking Centre. They understand the needs of customers from overseas and will provide help and guidance.

The one-off fee of AED 740 is levied on a 'per account basis' upon receipt of completed account opening documents by the UAE International Banking Centre. If you request more than one product in the application (e.g. a current account and a credit card), the additional products are included as part of the account application, and only AED 740 will be charged.

If you wish to open 2 or more accounts simultaneously in different countries (e.g. France and Hong Kong), the account applications will be processed separately and hence the fee will be levied twice (i.e. AED 1480).


* The AED 740 fee for Non-Premier customers is variable. It does not apply if the forms and other required documents are submitted physically to the receiving country directly. We can provide you with the details of our overseas branches. This fee is waived for all HSBC Premier customers.
