HSBC Future Falcons
The HSBC Future Falcons junior golf programme is a joint initiative with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) and HSBC which aims to educate, engage and inspire Emirati and expatriate youngsters in a bid to unearth the next generation of UAE golfing talent.
The ethos of the initiative is to develop golf at a grassroots level by providing fun and exciting ways for children to take part in the game.
The programme focuses on three basic skills – 'Drive, Chip and Putt' and is open to all children aged 5 and above.
September 2017 saw a successful start to the new season and in the last few months hundreds of children in schools and the community have benefitted from the initiative. Free HSBC Hours have been the focal point to raising awareness of the programme within the community and have also helped strengthen relationships between the community and golf clubs.
