As a thank you to our HSBC Customers, we will have 300 complimentary tickets at the General Admissions gate on the morning of Friday 2nd December 2022 and Saturday 3rd December 2022.

These tickets are strictly on a first come first served basis, reserved to 1 ticket per HSBC Customer, and once they are depleted there will be no restock. Find us before the General Admissions entrance gate.

In order to save you time at the gate, as you will need to show your app with your digital ticket in order to gain access to the tournament, we suggest downloading your application ahead of time. Simply type Emirates Dubai 7s into your app store on either Apple or Google Play.

The HSBC Global Rugby Ambassadors are a highlight to many at the HSBC Premier Lounge and HSBC Hex Suite and this year will see the introduction of Bryan Habana, Danielle Waterman, Brian O’Driscoll and Abby Gustaitis to the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby 7s Weekend! 

Bryan Habana

Bryan Habana

Bryan Habana is South Arica's record try-scorer and his country's second most capped player of all time. He has 124 Test appearances and played an influential role in the team that won the Rugby World Cup in 2007.

Habana went on to cement his place among rugby's elite players with a series of outstanding performances during South Africa’s 2007 Rugby World Cup victory. This led to him being named the 2007 IRB Player of the Year and regarded as one of the most lethal wingers in the history of the game. The three-time South African Rugby Player of the Year went on to take the Springbok's all time try-scoring record during the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

Brian O’Driscoll

A modern-day rugby icon, Brian is a former Irish professional rugby union player and the 4th most capped player in rugby union history. O’Driscoll played 141 test matches – 133 for Ireland (83 as captain), and 8 for the British & Irish Lions.  He scored 46 tries for Ireland, making him the highest try scorer in the country’s history, the 8th highest try scorer in international rugby union, and the highest scoring centre of all time.

Danielle Waterman

Danielle Waterman

Danielle Waterman is an English professional rugby player, who became the youngest player to ever be capped by her country.

She has won 82 international caps over the course of a fifteen-year international career and scored 47 tries in the process. Still applying her trade today at Wasps Ladies, Waterman also had the distinguished honour of representing Great Britain at the 2016 Olympics at rugby sevens where they finished in 4th place.

Abby Gustaitis

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology and Neurobiology, Abby is far from just an Academic, Abby made her debut in international rugby in 2016 and was named to the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup team for the USA. She made her HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series debut at the 2017 Dubai Sevens, helping the United States to a silver medal. The following year, she was selected for Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018 in San Francisco and was named Co-Captain. Abby was also part of the USA Women’s Sevens team who won their first-ever gold medal in Biarritz and added a consecutive gold in Glendale in 2019. She captained the team at the Tokyo Olympics last summer. Abby is currently living in San Francisco and very involved in rugby including coaching, commentary for the World Rugby and presenting for NBC Sports.
