Flexi instalment plan

Before you proceed with the Flexi Instalment Plan we’ll inform you of any interest or fees that may apply. Alternatively, please refer to the Terms and Conditions, Key Facts Statement and Schedule of Services and Tariffs (PDF) for details of our latest fees and charges.

Your monthly instalment amount will be added to the monthly minimum repayment due for your credit card. If you miss a payment, the outstanding instalment amount will become part of the retail outstanding amount on your card.

If you fail to pay your credit card minimum repayment by the due date for 2 consecutive months, the total outstanding plan amount will be added to the total outstanding of your card and will be due in the next monthly statement. The rate will also switch to the applicable purchase rate of the card.

Your Flexi Instalment Plan amount, any applicable fees and the total interest payable, whether or not this has been billed, will be deducted from your available credit limit.

This means that at any time during the term of the Flexi Instalment Plan your available credit limit must be enough to cover them. As each monthly instalment is paid, the respective amount will be restored to your available credit limit.

Cancellation

You can cancel your Flexi Instalment Plan by calling the number on the back of your card within 7 business days of booking the plan.

We'll cancel the Flexi Instalment Plan and the outstanding amount will be treated as retail spend going forward, as if the Flexi Instalment Plan didn't apply.

Early settlement

You can repay the outstanding balance on your Flexi Instalment Plan before the end of your plan by calling the number on the back of your card. You may be subject to early settlement fees.

If you recently applied for a Flexi Instalment Plan, please allow up to 5 working days for it to be processed and display in your account on the HSBC UAE app. Should you have any queries, please call the number on the back of your card.
