Register your HSBC accounts with Aani

Download or open the HSBC UAE app
Go to Pay and transfer and select Aani to register your accounts
Download the Aani app and
Link your HSBC account using the mobile number you have registered with the bank
Use the Aani app to make instant payments to other Aani users in the UAE

Things to know

You need to have the HSBC UAE app to register your accounts with Aani
You can register or unregister your accounts in the HSBC UAE app at any time
Transfers are limited to up to AED 1,000 per transaction, up to a maximum of AED 5,000 per day

Frequently asked questions

Once you've registered your HSBC account with Aani, open the Aani app and select Payment from the menu.

Once you've registered your HSBC account with Aani, open the Aani app and select 'Request to pay' from the menu.

You'll get a notification in the Aani app when you get a payment request.

When you tap it, you'll be taken to the payment request where you can either accept or refuse the transaction.

You can cancel a payment in the Aani app before the request times out or it's approved by the receiver.

In this case, the receiver of the request will get a push notification telling them the payment request has been cancelled by the sender.

You should get an Aani payment instantly.

So, if you don't get a payment sent to you in your selected HSBC account, make sure you selected it as the default account in the Aani app. If you still have issues, please call us to investigate further.
