Account set up

Let us help you set up your new account or credit card

Current account set up

Your card has been delivered to you by courier. Never disclose any of these details or lend it to anyone.

There are now 4 easy steps to complete your account set up, please follow these in order.

1. Set up telephone banking

  • Call 800 4320 for Premier
  • Call 600 55 4722 for Advance and all other customers

For extra protection, choose to protect your account with HSBC Voice ID

2. Set up your debit card

If you have access to HSBC UAE app,

  • Go to 'Manage cards' and tap on 'Set/Reset PIN' to set your new debit card PIN
  • Set up Apple Pay or Google Pay from 'Manage cards' in the app
If you dont have access to HSBC UAE app

3. Set up mobile banking

  1. Register here using your debit/credit card number and PIN. You can then immediately use Online Banking.
  2. Then download and activate our mobile app. The app is also used to generate codes to use some of the Online Banking features for additional security.

4. New to the UAE?

If you are new to the UAE, and did not yet provide your Emirates ID, your account is not yet fully active. You must provide your Emirates ID within 75 days of opening your account to avoid your cards and online payments being frozen. This step is also required to receive a cheque book or purchase any more products.

Credit card set up

Now your credit card has been delivered to you by Courier, there are 3 easy steps to complete your account set up. Please follow these in order.

If you have access to HSBC UAE app,

  • Go to 'Manage cards' and tap on 'Set/Reset PIN' to set your new credit card PIN

3. Set up mobile banking
