What is HSBC Global Money Transfer?
HSBC Global Money Transfers is an international transfer service available on the HSBC UAE app. You can use it to send money faster and with no fees1 to anyone, anywhere in the world.

Send instant international payments to someone else within HSBC to multiple supported countries without any transfer fees.
What do I need to use this service?
To start using HSBC Send Money Internationally, you'll need:
- a Personal HSBC account registered for online banking.
- to be able to access the HSBC UAE app.
Can I have the future dated and recurring Global Money Transfers or HSBC to HSBC Payment?
We don't currently support future dated and recurring Global Money Transfers and HSBC to HSBC Payment.
How do I send money with Global Money Transfers or HSBC to HSBC Payment?
- Log on to the HSBC UAE app
- Go to 'Pay and transfer’ tab
- Select 'Send money internationally', then select the country or territory you're sending money to
- Based on country selection, transfer method options will be displayed.
- Please choose between “HSBC to HSBC Payment” (international payment within HSBC) or “HSBC Global Money Transfer” (international payment outside HSBC)
- Choose the transfer currency if it's different to the default
- Enter the amount you're sending
- Select an existing payee or add a new one
- Review the transaction details, including the HSBC exchange rate (if applicable), then select 'Confirm'. Once you do this, you won't be able to cancel the transaction.
How long does it take a HSBC Global Money Transfer to arrive?
Estimated time to takes 1 - 3 business days based on receiving bank country. You'll be able to see the estimated arrival date when you review the transfer. The actual arrival date is subject to increased scrutiny of transactions by the correspondent bank/financial institution or entity providing financial services to the beneficiary of remittances.
How long does it take a HSBC to HSBC Payment to arrive?
HSBC to HSBC Payments are effected instantly (typically within 6 seconds from submitting the required information) for supported currencies.
Why can't I see some of my previously saved payees when I'm making a transfer?
Your saved payees will only appear if you select the same receiving country/territory and transfer method as you did when you saved them previously.
