Invest your money in just a few taps

Whatever you’re thinking of investing in, all it takes is a few taps with HSBC WorldTrader. Just log on to the app and follow these simple instructions. It’s quick, simple and secure.

How to make a trade in the WorldTrader app

1. Log on and select 'Trade'

Log on to the WorldTrader app and select the ‘Trade’ button on the home screen.

2. Search for an investment

Tap the search bar to start looking for the investments you’re interested in. You can search by name or stock symbol. You can also use our stock scanner to filter your search.

3. Select the investment you want

Select an investment asset and you’ll be able to learn more about it and review its performance. If you’d like to make a trade, select ‘Buy’ or ‘Sell’ at the bottom of the screen.

4. Set the details of your trade

Once you’ve decided what you want to invest in, you’ll need to select the order type, price, number of shares and a couple of other details.

5. Look out for a confirmation

Once you’ve submitted your order, you’ll be able to see whether it has been executed already or is still pending. Once your trade has been executed you’ll be able to find it in your transaction history.
